A calmness lies over Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg. The picture was taken at the turn of the century and has a nice richness of detail. Among other things, we see an old tram that passes between steamboats and people in town. Gothenburg's tram network was electrified between 1900-1902 so the picture must be from shortly after that. The building in the middle of the picture was demolished in the 60s and in connection with that the hill was also blown away. Today the trail goes straight across.
