Poster with a picture from Kristianstad Grand Prix in 1956.
The Swedish Grand Prix for sports cars was run on the Råbelöfsbanan for three years starting in 1955. In the picture we see one of the competing cars in the pit: a Porsche 550 Spyder. The driver's name is Gert Kaiser and the man talking to him is Hans Herrmann, a very famous and successful driver from that time.
The Porsche 550 Spyder was a racing car that was produced between 1953-1956. Only 90 were produced, but it quickly became dominant in the 1.1 and 1.5 liter class. The Porsche 550 Spyder had an air-cooled 4-cylinder mid-engine and dominated motorsport in the 1950s.
A vintage Porsche 550 Spyder was sold at auction in 2018 for almost SEK 50 million.
