Poster with a vintage poster of a raven . The illustration was drawn by the von Wright brothers and published at the beginning of the 20th century in the book Swedish Birds After Nature Och På Sten Ritad. In the picture we see, among other things, the text Corvus corax - Latin for the name of the species .
The raven is very intelligent and has for a long time appeared in both religion, mythology and folklore. In many cultures, including the Nordic countries, ancient Ireland and Wales, Bhutan and along the North West coast of North America, ravens have been revered as soul or spiritual beings that bring commandments and signs.
