Poster with a unique photograph taken when Coca-Cola begins to be sold in Sweden. Until December 31, 1952, cola drinks were banned in Sweden because they contained phosphoric acid and caffeine. The law was changed and from 1 January 1953 these ingredients were allowed in soft drinks - as well as in food in general.

On June 29, 1953, the first trucks were loaded with Coca-Cola to Swedish consumers, and a bottle then cost 34 öre. In the picture we see a truck at Riddarholmskajen unloading Coca-Cola bottles to the Tre Kronor mineral water factory in Sundbyberg. Stockholm's city hall forms the beautiful background.

The custom-built truck that drops off the bottles is a model Volvo L34 - which was part of Coca-Cola's marketing. A marketing that was at the forefront in the meantime when it came to advertising messages on the cars.
