Poster with a drawing of a carriage house and woodshed that was built by the castle master builder Degenaer in the Minsta Tjärhovsgatan 9 neighborhood, in 1791. The building is designed to accommodate carriages and wood, and is an example of the smaller but still important structures that complemented the cityscape during this time.
The drawing was created and approved by Johan Fredrik Degenaer who was a Swedish architect and master builder during the 18th and early 19th centuries. Being a master builder meant being responsible for the construction and maintenance of buildings at royal castles and other important buildings. Degenaer had a central role in several building projects within the royal court and around Stockholm.
