Poster with the painting "Une première" by the artist Anders Zorn (1860-1920) from the year 1888 (A premiere).
The painting depicts a naked woman and a boy walking together in the water: an early example of Zorn's motifs with naked bodies in nature. The painting was created on Dalarö, where Zorn experimented with the theme of "naked in the open" after his honeymoon. Zorn's skill and his ability to capture the reflections of light in the water make this work one of his most outstanding paintings.
Anders Zorn was one of Sweden's most famous and prominent artists during the late 1800s and early 1900s, known for his portraits and genre paintings. Although Zorn was strongly influenced by French Impressionism and contemporary European art, he developed his own unique style that made him known internationally. His art is characterized by simplicity, but also by emotional power and technical brilliance.
