From the Front to the Film Sets
The year before this photograph, K.G. Kristoffersson founded the picture agency Svenskt Bildreportage. In the winter of 1939, he had already photographed at the front during the Winter War, and in the 1940s he became a frequently commissioned photographer on Swedish film sets. His archive therefore contains both war reportage and everyday life in the Swedish film world.
