Seventy Years to Join the Collection
The poster was created in the latter half of the 1940s, but was not acquired by Nasjonalmuseet until 2019 – more than seven decades later. The draughtsman Preben Tambs Hysing worked in commercial illustration, while the Ministry of Defence is listed as the probable producer.

The story behind the motif
Poster with the illustrated poster Hold Tett! , from the Norwegian Ministry of Defense between 1945-1947.
