Ten Kilos on His Back
Anders Beer Wilse travelled through Norway with a plate camera and a tripod that together weighed around ten kilos. He could wait for hours for the right light, and hauled his equipment with him on skis, on foot and by bicycle – a way of working that gave his landscape photographs an unusually physical presence.
