The story behind the motif

Canvas with the painting An Old Mountain Goblin by John Bauer from 1904. A t role from the mountains with long dark hair stands on a wooded mountain. On the arms hang bangles as well as a knife, fork and a spoon. The painting was an illustration to Gustaf Fröding's poem Ett old mountain troll in Snöflingan: children's Christmas magazine .

John Bauer is known for his fairytale motifs with goblins and princesses and he has had a great influence on Nordic folklore and storytelling.

If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex; to Sweden and the rest of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest pickup point!
