The story behind the motif

Poster with an artistic image of Ellen Rasch (1920-2015) who was a Swedish dancer, ballet teacher and actor. Here in Paris where she balances beautifully with the Eiffel Tower as a background.

The picture is taken from a photo reportage from Paris where Rasch is seen enjoying himself and preferably walking around in his dance clothes. The article presents the news that she will play the lead role in the film Eldfågeln, which later premiered in Sweden on August 12, 1952. Published in Filmjournalen no. 2 in 1952.
