The story behind the motif
The poster shows a detailed facade drawing of the Bondeska Palace in Stockholm. The Bondeska Palace was begun in 1787 and was only completed in 1798 after several difficulties, mainly with the foundation, which delayed the construction process.
The palace was demolished in 1989 to make way for a bank building designed by Ferdinand Broberg. The Bondeska Palace was part of the city's history, but was demolished to make way for a more modern building, which is an example of the changes in the cityscape that took place during the 20th century.
