When the train took the ferry
The 1913 poster advertised an unusually seamless European journey for its time: through carriages between Berlin and Stockholm were carried aboard the Trelleborg–Sassnitz train ferry. At the same time, it invited travellers to the Baltic Exhibition in Malmö in 1914 – a festival of the future that opened before the First World War broke out.
