The story behind the motif

Canvas with the painting He picked the most magnificent fruits by the Swedish artist John Bauer from 1912. The motif shows a flying male figure in a red suit and large black cloak. In his arms he holds blue grape vines.

The fairy-tale style of the painting is a typical feature of Bauer's paintings, which often depict fairy-tale beings and other worlds. His illustrations have had a profound impact on Swedish folklore and storytelling.

If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex; to Sweden and the rest of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest pickup point!
