The story behind the motif

Markvardsgatan east from Stora Badstugatan (now Sveavägen) in Stockholm in 1896. A stone's throw away are schools such as the School of Economics and Norra Real and popular restaurants and cafes such as Pom och Flora and Den Gamle och Havet today.
