The story behind the motif

Poster with a photograph of Spillånga on Klädesholmen from 1890. The lovely photo was taken by Hugo Hallgren.

Klädesholmen is an island and settlement in Tjörn municipality. The mountain we see in the background is Klockarberget, and the small building on the mountain to the right of the yacht's mast is the old pilot lookout.
