The story behind the motif

Poster with a vintage event poster for the Winter Sports Festival in Bollnäs . This event was held between February 22 and 25, 1912 and on the poster we can see that "the country's best cross-country skiers will participate" .

In the picture we see an illustrated downhill skier with an audience as well as a sunset setting over the trees in the background. We also see a schedule for the days of the winter sports festival. Among other things, it is stated that on February 22 there was the "Competition for the Swedish championship in budkafle running on skis" .
