In 1913, Enoch Thulin received Swedish aviator’s diploma number 10. That same year, he made the first flight between Sweden and Germany, from Landskrona via Stralsund to Trelleborg—and at the same time laid the foundations for the aviation industry that soon developed in his home town.

The story behind the motif

Poster with a color lithograph poster, created after Torsten Schonberg's drawing from 1911. In the bottom right of the picture we see Schonberg's signature.

The poster from 1913 is an advertisement for Dr. Enoch Thulin's flights and in the picture we see Carl Cederström in the flying machine "Nordstjernan" and spectators on the ground.

On the poster we also see the text: " Flight! Dr. E Thulin - flies. Sunday, July 27. From Kristianstad over Åhus, Simrishamn, Ystad...". We also see that it is free entry and that he is expected to land around 6.30-8 em.
