In 1910, the year after Gunnar G:son Wennerberg left the Gustavsberg porcelain factory, he painted this oil painting. There, for fourteen years, he had transformed his meticulous studies of flowers into decorations for everyday tableware and art ceramics. The painting did not become part of the Nationalmuseum collections until 2013.

The story behind the motif

Canvas with a beautiful painting of autumn flowers, sun bride and autumn leaves from 1910. The work was painted by the Swedish artist Gunnar G. Wennerberg (1863-1914). Wennerberg was very skilled and famous for his flower motifs.

Delivery time is normally around 5–7 business days within the Nordic countries, as we handcraft our canvas artworks in our factory in Sweden, and the canvas fabric also needs to dry before we stretch it over a wooden frame and ship it to you.

If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex; to Sweden and the rest of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest pickup point!
