Canvas with a painting from 1903 by the iconic Swedish artist and writer August Strindberg. The painting is called The City.
In the picture we see a dark landscape with a sky filled with large cloud formations in white, black and grey. The lower part of the picture consists of a water surface and in the foreground a dark beach edge. On the horizon we see a city. The city appears to float on the water, like a mirage. The city – which symbolizes civilization, culture and life – is very remote. As spectators, we find ourselves in a dark landscape far from civilized society.
August Strindberg (1849-1912) was a Swedish writer, playwright and artist. He is considered one of Sweden's most important writers, internationally known primarily as a playwright. Several of his works are considered classics in Swedish literature.

We deliver to the entire world and always offers free shipping! Depending on which country you are shipping to, the delivery may mean that certain customs fees and taxes are added - there is no duty or tax on deliveries within, for example, the EU, USA or Norway.
The delivery time is normally about 5-7 working days within the Nordics as we make our canvases by hand in our factory in Sweden and that the canvas fabric needs to dry before we stretch them on a wooden frame and send them to you.
If you order from Norway, your order will be delivered with Fedex, to Sweden and other parts of the world with DHL. Your package is normally delivered to your nearest agent!
